Top 5 Spring/ Summer Sneaker Wishlist

My favourite seasons, Spring and Summer, are upon us and I couldn’t be happier. I’m so ready to spend my days in fresh sneakers while I sip on refreshing cocktails and watch the sunset.

I love to let my feet breathe with sandals in summer but a good pair of sneakers are essential to every woman’s wardrobe. I believe there’s a good pair of sneaks for every occasion, whether you’re heading to the gym, a music festival or work.

Along with the new season, there are fresh fashion drops and trends. This season I’m drawn towards nudes, pastel colours and white, which always looks chic. I’ve been thinking about investing in new kicks so I did a little ‘window shopping’ and compiled my Top 5 Spring/Summer sneaker wishlist in collaboration with Superbalist. I immediately began my search by looking at the Nike Sneakers and Adidas Originals Sneakers. You could never go wrong with these as they always nail the modern, clean aesthetic.

1. Adidas Originals Stan Smith Bold

Pastels are a making a major appearance this season which makes these tactile green Stan Smith Bolds an obvious favourite of mine. They’re leather-lined with a premium suede upper which makes them a luxurious sneaker pick that pairs well with jeans and a tee, or even a dress. Yes, you can wear sneakers with a dress 😉

2. Nike Air Max Thea

Sleek, stylish and comfortable are the first words that pop into my mind when I think about these light ore wood / taupe babies. A twist on the original running shoe, the Air Max Thea design exudes minimalism. I absolutely love the colour combination which can be paired with brown, purple or shades of nude.

3. Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Metallics Ox

Chuck Taylor’s have been a summer sneaker staple for years and there’s no question about why they are. The All Star Metallics Ox has all the classic details but they’re taken to a new level with a pearl sheen, leather finish. When I think about summer events, I think about an all white look. These sneakers can be paired with an off-the-shoulder top and cullotes, effortlessly cool.

4. Nike W Air Presto Ultra BR

Originally introduced in 2000, this sneaker is back with a bright, ombre’ look. These are one of the few kicks that can take you from a day out at the mall or market, to a cardio session at the gym. The dymanic mesh upper stretches with your foot and the Air-Sole heel unit has lightweight cushioning and support, perfect for long days on your feet.

5. Reebok Classic Leather

Show me some nudes 😉 Every girl needs some shades of nude in her sneaker collection. The Reebok classics are timeless, easily paired with all-black they become the star of an outfit.

That sums up my Top 5 Spring/ Summer sneaker wishlist in no particular order. They’re not only stylish, but they are comfortable and practical too. You may have noticed that I’m a huge fan of Nike Sneakers and Adidas Originals Sneakers. They consistently bring out dope kicks that can be worn throughout Spring and Summer.
