Essence Keep It Perfect Make-up Fixing Spray

Product description:

Essence Keep It Perfect Make-up Fixing Spray. Stay gorgeous! Perfectly fixed with just one spray. The light, transparent formula of the make-up fixing spray lies on the make-up like a protective layer and ensures a long-lasting finish. it has a refreshing effect, won’t weigh down the skin and is fragrance-free.

A make-up fixing spray has become essential to beauty routines. It’s not another beauty fad, but a must-have. I was excited when I spotted the Essence Keep It Perfect Make-up Fixing Spray at Dischem because Essence is one of my favourite budget-friendly cosmetics brands. I don’t believe that you have to spend thousands to look good and while there are amazing high-end fixing sprays, this one does the job. It comes packaged in a small, lightweight plastic bottle with a spray nozzle on top and it contains 50ml of product. The packaging makes it easy to carry in your handbag or your hand luggage when you’re travelling for a quick spritz. Make-up fixing or setting sprays lie on top of makeup and serve as a protective layer that ensures a long-lasting finish so think of it as a topcoat for your make-up. If you have a long day and want to make sure that your make-up does not rub off or crease then this product is great.

Essence Keep It Perfect Make-up Fixing Spray

I love how the Essence Keep It Perfect Make-up Fixing Spray sprays evenly and has a neutral smell because there’s nothing worse than feeling like you’re spraying heavy, toxic hairspray all over your face. It’s a super light mist and gives the face a dewy look which is right on trend. I have sensitive skin and this fixing spray does not cause any irritation or break-outs. Although this product is amazing, it does not last as long as other setting sprays may last but it will definitely extend your the wear-time by a couple of hours.

I suggest spraying it on straight after you’ve applied your makeup. Do this by keeping your hand at a slight distance away from your face to ensure that you don’t spray too much in one spot. This fixing spray dries quickly so try to spray quickly and just enough to evenly distribute it across your face. As always, Essence has managed to put a great, affordable product with elegant packaging, we all love pretty stuff right?

Final thoughts

I don’t have an extensive make-up routine, for example, you may have noticed that I don’t really contour or fill my brows but I feel that the Essence Keep It Perfect Make-up Fixing Spray is an essential addition to my routine because it’s so important to slay all day! It is super affordable and works well but it does not last as long as other makeup fixing sprays.

  1. I’m also a huge Essence fan! I have been thinking about getting a fixing spray for ages now, but I just don’t like the way most of them smell and it seems soon chemical. I will maybe give this one a try. Great review!

I would definitely recommend it because it’s so affordable, it’s a must-have if you want your makeup to last for a few hours. Maybe get rid of the make-up that you haven’t used in the last 6 months
